medium-bodied, intense, fruity
The vineyard where this wine comes from is situated on the volcanic cone known as Castellaro in the Soave Classico zone bearing witness to the fact that this area was one of intense volcanic activity millions of years ago. Bolla was already vinifying the grapes cultivated on this ex-volcano, special because of its height, soil and winds, in the 1970s and featured its name on the label. The basaltic origin of the soil comes through clearly in the wine
